Spruce Goose

Made a visit to the Spruce Goose today (aka Evergreen Aviation Museum, Space Museum, Water Park and iMax). I get to drive by the Spruce Goose every time I go to town, but you can't really gauge the size until you are in the building with it, and see how many other  planes they have parked under its wings!

Ate lunch in the Cosmos Cafe which had a decent chili and cornbread.

It's nice to see this complex of significant aviation history right here in my own back yard!

Body Worlds

Today we took a trip to OMSI with Susan, and stopped for lunch first at Le Bistro Montage. Good food, reasonable prices.

 Here we are at OMSI. They also had a life size giraffe in Body Worlds!


We took a trip over Mt Tabor on the way home - it was a beautiful day. The mountain was as standout. The cell phone doesn't do it justice!
