Blue On Red

A trip to Washington DC in July in the one of the hottest heat waves on record - just the ticket to gear up for my next sojourn, this time to Egypt! I only had a couple of days in the big city, and seemed like I went to one museum after another. So much so, that I began to think - hey, I can do that too - make art that is. Thus my blue on red study shown here.

And if you need a place to stay in DC, right off the Mall, inexpensive but safe: Hotel Harrington. Been around for years; caters to the student crowd. Just a block from all the tourist sites.
